  • In November 1 2021, an item number was introduced which will partially cover the costs of fat transfer for breast reconstruction.

Revision of previous Breast Reconstruction (performed elsewhere/by a different surgeon)

About Plastic Surgery fees

All patients require personalised quotations following consultation. Revision surgery may require specific considerations based on prior surgery and this will result in variation in quoted prices for surgery.

Where procedures have an item number and are covered by your health insurance, hospital costs and prostheses/implants may also be covered in whole or in part.

Where procedures covered by your health insurance are not charged according to the “known GAP” schemes, the plastic surgery and anaesthetic fees for that procedure will be partially covered and you will still receive a rebate.

Hospital charges and anaesthetic fees are set independently and may not be consistent with how Dr Campbell-Lloyd sets his fees. We do our best to advocate positively for our patients when requesting quotations.

Important information about the above fees:

* The plastic surgeon’s fees DO NOT INCLUDE anaesthetic fees, hospital fees, or some dressings. All prices shown are inclusive of GST and high cost consumables where required. Prices are dependent on time and complexity of each patient. The plastic surgery fees listed are an estimate only. The surgeon has the right to amend these fees at any time based on individual circumstances.

^ Total approximate costs are INCLUSIVE of GST, anaesthetic fees, hospital fees, implants and garments, and are provided for selected procedures as a guide only. All quotes are subject to individual variation. Total cost guides may vary (significantly) based on hospital and anaesthetic quotes which are dependent on third parties.

^^ “Total approximate out-of-pocket costs (insured patients)” assumes insurance coverage which includes relevant item numbers. The out of pocket costs shown are AFTER any applicable rebates from your health fund or medicare. This cost assumes an insurance policy "excess" of $500 which will be payable on admission to hospital.

  • Please take the time to read our Fees Policy.
  • Where procedures listed are covered by insurance, it is your responsibility to confirm with your fund that your policy includes the relevant item numbers.
